Raven's Caw: Of Magnets and Armature
Raven's Caw: Of Magnets and Armature
These necklaces are so innovative and unique - just LOVE them! Shows how far one can go using polymer clay with other products. As a fairly new polymer consumer, I am in "awe" of all the artisans who have such original designs. Maybe some day, I'll rise to their ranks, but first, I need to shut down my left brain and let the right brain loose! So hard for me to do...

New Venue, New FUN!
Beginning January, 2012, I began my journey into the world of "Polymer Clay" and what fun I've had so far. A long time ago, I dabbled with FIMO clay, but this is so different. Fimo clay is still used in this venue, but my choice of clay (so far) is Premo Sculpey clay. It is very easy to use, and has a variety of colors that can be mixed together to make any color wanted.
I love working with my hands, and this venue just resonated with me. The possibilities are endless; your imagination is the only thing that will hold you back. Classes are held in many cities; unfortunately, I live in a rural area where these kinds of amenities are not available. I learn by "hands on" and through online tutorials, books, and magazines.
There are so many very talented artisans that have captured the hearts of many; each one that I find online is my current favorite! Polymer clay has been used in so many different ways, from sculptures, bowls, lamps, figurines, decorative art for homes, silverware, pens, to jewelry, to name a few. Just google polymer clay and see where it takes you!
I invite you to stay with me as I continue my journey; I will be posting new items as they are created. You can find me online at www.secondsisteratmoarkjewelry.com; my website has links to my two online shops.
